Having worn Timberland boat shoes with comfort for years, I thought I would give these a try for a "winter boat shoe" They were advertised as 3E width...just my size. When I got them, though I found that they were not wide enough to be comfortable.
I will be returning them soon... at my expense! W does not mean 3E!

I like this "boot" for it has office appeal, can be worn on the streets and I got a few compliments on it. What I am not fond of is the bottom of the shoe. As the picture shows in the preview, there isn't much to any traction what so ever. It's basically smooth so luck be with you if you use these as an actual boot for I have and gone into a office with the usual nicely polished and slicked floor and even after wiping my feet I feel like I am at a ice skating ring.
Overall, I rather like the shoe, but feel it being called a boot is more so for the style and warmth than what it is really capable of when it comes to movement. If that makes sense.

Fabulous. My husband absolutely loves these shoes. Shipped fast. Very casual look. Very comfortable. This was my first time ordering this type of boot and I must say I am very well pleased.
